J.J. Perlingieri is an accomplished saxophone player. Enrolled at Western for engineering, he switched schools and majors to pursue music. His influences include such bands as Tower of Power and Manteca, and he has a history of playing in jazz, funk, blues, and R n' B groups. His tasteful and mature playing and his solid practice ethic defy his young age, and he is a commanding element in the Peas' overall sound.
